Amend HB 1359 (Senate committee printing) as follows:
      (1)  On page 1, lines 22 through 27, in proposed Section
61.823(e), strike the following:
"If the board fails to meet the requirements of this subsection by
January 1, 2003, for a designated degree program, all lower
division courses required for that degree program are automatically
tranferable for credit between all institutions of higher education
that offer that degree program."
      (2)  On page 1, lines 37 through 41, in proposed Section
61.823(f), strike the following:
"If the board fails to meet the requirements of this subsection by
January 1, 2004, for a designated degree program, all lower divison
courses required for that degree program are automatically
tranferable for credit between all institutions of higher education
that offer that degree program."
