Amend SECTION 3 of HB 1862 on third reading, Article 3.70-3C,
Section 10, by striking Subsection (2)(A) and by substituting new
Subsection (2)(A) to read as follows:
      (A)  care related to an emergency or its attendant episode of
care as required by state or federal law.
      Amend SECTION 6, The Texas Health Maintenance Organization
Act (Chapter 20A, Vernon's Texas Insurance Code), Section 18I, by
striking Subsection (2)(A) and substituting new Subsection (2)(A)
to read as follows:
      (A)  care related to an emergency or its attendant episode of
care as required by state or federal law.
