Amend HB 1925 (Committee Printing) in SECTION 2 of the bill,
in proposed Section 46.03(i), Penal Code, as follows:
      (i)  It is an exception to the application of Subsection
(a)(6) that the actor possessed a firearm or club:
            (1)  while in a vehicle being driven on a public road;

            (2)  at the actor's residence; or <>]Lplace of employment  
            (3)  while in the actual discharge of the actor's
official duties as:
                  (A)  a member of the armed forces or national
guard,
                  (B)  an employee of a penal institution, or
                  (C)  a peace officer.
