Amend HB 2384 as follows:
      (1)  In SECTION 1 of the bill, in proposed Section
143.3015(e), Local Government Code (senate committee report, page
1, line 37), between "adopted" and the period, insert "for fire
fighters, police officers, or both".
      (2)  In SECTION 1 of the bill, in proposed Section
143.3015(f), Local Government Code (senate committee report, page
1, line 45), strike "fire fighters or police officers" and
substitute "(insert fire fighters, police officers, or both, as
applicable,)".
