Amend CSHB 2684 by striking SECTION 3 of the bill (Committee
Printing page 1, lines 48-52) and substituting the following:
      SECTION 3.  If the department is prohibited, by a federal
study issued after September 1, 2003, from using open water
disposal methods for Laguna Madre dredge spoils, Section
51.005(b)(3) expires on the date such study is filed by the
department with the commission.
