Amend HB 2847 as follows:
      (1)  In SECTION 1 of the bill, insert a new Subsection as
follows:
      "(n)  When producing groundwater, the Brazos River Authority
shall be subject to all laws and regulations relating to
groundwater, including but not limited to the rules and regulations
of a groundwater conservation district and the Central
Carrizo-Wilcox Coordinating Council."
      (2)  In SECTION 1 of the bill, insert a new Subsection as
follows:
      "(o)  The Brazos River Authority is not authorized to
transport or assist in the transport of groundwater pumped in the
basin outside of the Brazos River basin."
