Amend CSHJR 22 on page 1, between lines 21 and 22, by
inserting new Subsections (c) and (d), and relettering the
subsequent subsections accordingly, to read as follows:
      (c)  By this section, neither the state, nor any of its
employees, agents, departments, agencies, or political
subdivisions, admits to liability for, or to the truth of, any
allegation asserted by any claimant.  The state does not waive any
defense, of law or fact, available to the state or any of its
employees or agents, but reserves every defense except the defense
of immunity from suit or liability.
      (d)  The state or any employee, agent, department, agency, or
political subdivision of the state is not liable for exemplary
damages under this section.
