On page XI-78, of CSSB 1, under the General Land Office and
Veterans' Land Board Article XI bill pattern, strike the
"Supplemental Appropriations Made in Riders" and the contingency
appropriation for HB 310, and replace with the following:
      Contingency Appropriation for HB 310.  Contingent upon the
enactment of HB 310, or similar legislation relating to a Texas
Veterans Cemetery System, and contingent upon the passage of a
constitutional amendment which would allow excess assests in the
Veterans' Land Fund, the Veterans' Housing Assistance Fund, and the
Veterans' Housing Assistance Fund II, to be used for veterans'
cemeteries, and which would allow for an increase in the amount of
general obligation bonds authorized for veterans' housing
assistance, there is hereby appropriated from any or all of the
Veterans' Land Fund, the Veterans' Housing Assistance Fund, and the
Veterans' Housing Assistance Fund II, all amounts necessary to
administer the State Veterans' Cemetery Program, as established by
HB 310 or similar legislation, to the extent that the Veterans'
Land Board determines that such amounts are necessary for such
funds.
