      Amend CSSB 1 as follows:
      (1)Under the Article XI appropriation to the Department of
Health (page XI-11),add the following appropriately numbered rider:
      CONTINGENT APPROPRIATION: ABUSABLE VOLATILE CHEMICALS.
Contingent on the enactment of HB 2950 or similar legislation of
the 77th Legislature relating to the regulation of certain abusable
volatile chemicals and in addition to other amounts appropriated by
this Act, the sum of $581,250 is hereby appropriated out of the
General Revenue Fund to the Department of Health for the fiscal
year ending August 31, 2002, for the purpose of regulating certain
abusable volatile chemicals, and the additional sum of $775,000 is
hereby appropriated out of the General Revenue Fund to the
Department of Health for the fiscal year ending August 31, 2003.
      (2) Adjust the article totals (page XI-11) accordingly.
