Amend CSSB 1 in Article XI of the bill, in the Article XI
appropriations to the Department  of  Health  (page XI-14), by
adding the following appropriately numbered rider:
      __.  TELEMEDICINE SERVICES.  Out of the funds appropriated
above in strategy D.1.1., Women and Children's Health Services,
$112,419 in fiscal year 2002 and $191,000 in fiscal year 2003 shall
be allocated to the Tarrant County Hospital District for
expenditures to expand a system of telemedicine services to
low-income women.  The Tarrant County Hospital District shall
report to the Texas Department of Health not later than January 1,
2003, on the effectiveness of the telemedicine services.
