      Amend CSSB 1 as follows:
      (1)  Under the Article XI appropriations to the Department of
Health (pages XI-11 through XI-14), add the following appropriately
numbered rider:
      _____.  APPROPRIATION OF LICENSE PLATE REVENUE. In addition
to other amounts appropriated to the Department of Health by this
Act, all amounts in the animal friendly account in the general
revenue fund are appropriated to the department for the state
fiscal biennium beginning September 1, 2001, for the purposes
specified by Section 828.014, Health and Safety Code, including all
unobligated and unexpended amounts in the account at the beginning
of the biennium and all amounts deposited to the credit of the
account during the biennium.
      (2)  Adjust totals and methods of financing appropriately.
