Amend CSSB 1 as follows:
      On page XI-16 of the bill, under the appropriations to the
Texas Department of Human Services, add the following rider:
      Appropriation: In addition to the funds appropriated above,
the Department of Human Services is hereby appropriated out of the
General Revenue Fund $150,000,000 for fiscal year 2002 and
$150,000,000 for fiscal year 2003 to increase Medicaid
reimbursement rates to nursing homes.
