Amend CSSB 311 by adding the following SECTION, appropriately
numbered, to Article 14 of the bill and renumbering the subsequent
SECTIONS of Article 14 of the bill appropriately:
      SECTION __. Subchapter Z, Chapter 2252, Government Code, is
amended by adding Section 2252.902 to read as follows:
      Sec. 2252.902. INDEMNIFICATION. A contractor with the state
may not require a subcontractor under the state contract to
indemnify or hold harmless the contractor for claims or liabilities
resulting from the negligent acts or omissions of the contractor or
the contractor's employees.
