Amend SB 527 on third reading in SECTION 8 of the bill (house
committee report version) by inserting the following new Subsection
(f) at the end of Section 247.0451, Health and Safety Code, as
added by the bill:
      (f)  The department may not assess a penalty under this
section against a resident of an assisted living facility unless
the resident is also an employee of the facility or a controlling
person.
