Amend CSSB 577 at the end of SECTION 4 of the bill (Committee
printing, page 4, between lines 8 and 9) by inserting:
      (d)  A peace officer may not stop a vehicle or detain the
operator of a vehicle for the sole purpose of determining whether
the operator of the vehicle has violated this section.
