Amend CSSB 577 by striking Subsection (d), Section 545.424,
Transportation Code, as added by SECTION 2 of the bill (Committee
Printing page 1, lines 45-49), and substituting:
      (d)  A restriction under Subsection (b) or (c)(1) does not
apply if the operation of the vehicle is necessary:
            (1)  for the person operating the vehicle to:
                  (A)  travel between the person's home and the
person's place of employment; or
                  (B)  attend school or a school-related
extracurricular activity; or
            (2)  because of a medical emergency.
