Amend SB 949 as follows:
      (1)  In SECTION 1 of the bill, in amended Section 12.103,
Education Code, between "SCHOOL." and "An", insert "(a)".
      (2)  In SECTION 1 of the bill, immediately following the text
of amended Section 12.103, Education Code, insert the following:
      (b)  Notwithstanding Subsection (a), a campus of an
open-enrollment charter school located in whole or in part in a
municipality with a population of 20,000 or less is not subject to
municipal zoning ordinances governing public schools.
