DIGEST AND PURPOSE

Current law requires a state employee to apply to the sick leave pool
administrator to contribute hours to the sick leave pool. H.B. 569 allows
employees to contribute without applying to the administrator in order to
provide greater flexibility and efficiency in contributing to the sick
pool.

state officer, institution, or agency.

pool.
