DIGEST AND PURPOSE

Currently, the Private Investigators and Private Security Agencies Act

employed by a municipality or the state to work off-duty employment as well
as supervise and coordinate scheduling as an extra job coordinator for
other municipal or state peace officers to work off-duty as guards,
patrolmen, or watchmen. H.B. 1680 modifies the definition of "extra job
coordinator" in the Private Security Act to make it applicable to fulltime
employees of a political subdivision of the state.
