DIGEST AND PURPOSE

Current law allows a disabled person to receive one set of disabled person
license plates for each vehicle owned by the person. However, some disabled
persons own more than one vehicle and need more than one set of license
plates. H.B. 3338 entitles certain permanently disabled persons to obtain
two sets of disabled person license plates for vehicles operated by or used
for the transportation of the person.

RULEMAKING AUTHORITY

This bill does not expressly grant any additional rulemaking authority to a
state officer, institution, or agency.

license plates under this section for each motorcycle, passenger car, or
light truck owned by the person that is equipped with special equipment
that meets certain requirements.
