DIGEST AND PURPOSE

Currently, the decision to hold a local option election rests solely with
the county government. A city located in two counties is prevented from
holding a local option alcohol election. As proposed, S.B. 377 will allow
an incorporated city or town, located in two counties that meet the
population requirements, to hold a local option election.

state officer, institution, or agency.
