DIGEST AND PURPOSE

Under current law, the Clear Lake Forest Homeowner's Association
(association) can not vote on the issue of extending the mandatory
assessments in the Clear Lake Forest subdivision. The automatic extension
of these fees will expire in 2003. As proposed, S.B. 620 provides for an
extension on this limit by allowing the association to vote on extending
mandatory assessments in the subdivision.
