DIGEST AND PURPOSE

Currently, nursing homes lack programs that develop best-practices based on
industry research and internally developed models of practice across all
disciplines. As proposed, S.B. 1100 creates two nursing home pilot sites at
nursing homes affiliated with medical schools or nursing schools that would
focus on developing best practices.
