DIGEST AND PURPOSE

Under current Texas law, a hospital that has treated a crime victim is
allowed to submit an invoice to the Crime Victims Compensation Fund in an

increases that amount from $50,000 to $100,000.

This bill does not expressly grant any additional rulemaking authority to a
state officer, institution, or agency.

$50,000, in the aggregate.
