DIGEST AND PURPOSE

School districts across the state are having difficulty meeting all their
expenses concerning property and equipment needs under current law payment

to issue bonds for the purchase of new school buses.

This bill does not expressly grant any additional rulemaking authority to a
state officer, institution, or agency.

under its jurisdiction, to issue bonds, rather than negotiable coupon
bonds, for certain purposes, including the purchase of new school buses.
