By McClendon H.B. No. 33 77R303 PAM-D A BILL TO BE ENTITLED 1-1 AN ACT 1-2 relating to requiring manufactured home rental communities to 1-3 comply with county subdivision regulations. 1-4 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: 1-5 SECTION 1. Section 232.007, Local Government Code, is 1-6 repealed. 1-7 SECTION 2. The change in law made by this Act does not apply 1-8 to a manufactured home rental community in existence or for which 1-9 construction had lawfully begun before the effective date of this 1-10 Act, and Section 232.007, Local Government Code, is continued in 1-11 effect for the limited purpose of applying only in relation to such 1-12 a manufactured home rental community. In this section, 1-13 "manufactured home rental community" has the meaning assigned by 1-14 Section 232.007(a)(1), Local Government Code, as it existed 1-15 immediately before the repeal of Section 232.007, Local Government 1-16 Code. 1-17 SECTION 3. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives a 1-18 vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as 1-19 provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this 1-20 Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this 1-21 Act takes effect September 1, 2001.
