                                A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
 1-1                                   AN ACT
 1-2     relating to the award of attorney's fees and costs in an action
 1-3     against a fraudulent transfer.
 1-4           BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
 1-5           SECTION 1. Chapter 24, Business & Commerce Code, is amended
 1-6     by adding Section 24.013 to read as follows:
 1-7           Sec. 24.013.  COSTS. In any proceeding under this chapter,
 1-8     the court may award costs and reasonable attorney's fees as are
 1-9     equitable and just.
1-10           SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2001.
