                                A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
 1-1                                   AN ACT
 1-2     relating to the composition of the third and eighth administrative
 1-3     judicial regions.
 1-4           BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
 1-5           SECTION 1.  Sections 74.042(d) and (i), Government Code, are
 1-6     amended to read as follows:
 1-7           (d)  The Third Administrative Judicial Region is composed of
 1-8     the counties of Austin, Bell, Blanco, Bosque, Burnet, Caldwell,
 1-9     Colorado, Comal, Comanche, Coryell, Falls, Fayette, Gonzales,
1-10     Guadalupe, Hamilton, Hays, Hill, [Johnson,] Lampasas, Lavaca,
1-11     Llano, McLennan, Milam, Navarro, San Saba, [Somervell,] Travis, and
1-12     Williamson.
1-13           (i)  The Eighth Administrative Judicial Region is composed of
1-14     the counties of Archer, Clay, Cooke, Denton, Eastland, Erath, Hood,
1-15     Jack, Johnson, Montague, Palo Pinto, Parker, Somervell, Stephens,
1-16     Tarrant, Wichita, Wise, and Young.
1-17           SECTION 2.  This Act takes effect September 1, 2001.
