                                A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
 1-1                                   AN ACT
 1-2     relating to public access to certain information and materials.
 1-3           BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
 1-4           SECTION 1. The following provisions are repealed:
 1-5                 (1)  Sections 50.0225(h) and (i), Human Resources Code;
 1-6                 (2)  Sections 11B(h) and (i), Licensed Marriage and
 1-7     Family Therapist Act (Article 4512c-1, Vernon's Texas Civil
 1-8     Statutes);
 1-9                 (3)  Sections 5B(h) and (i), Chapter 498, Acts of the
1-10     62nd Legislature, Regular Session, 1971 (Article 4512d, Vernon's
1-11     Texas Civil Statutes);
1-12                 (4)  Sections 16D(h) and (i), Licensed Professional
1-13     Counselor Act (Article 4512g, Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes);
1-14                 (5)  Sections 16C(h) and (i), Licensed Dietitian Act
1-15     (Article 4512h, Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes);
1-16                 (6)  Sections 24A(h) and (i), Chapter 381, Acts of the
1-17     68th Legislature, Regular Session, 1983 (Article 4512j, Vernon's
1-18     Texas Civil Statutes);
1-19                 (7)  Sections 11B(h) and (i), Texas Medical Physics
1-20     Practice Act (Article 4512n, Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes);
1-21                 (8)  Sections 19A(h) and (i), Licensed Perfusionists
1-22     Act (Article 4529e, Revised Statutes); and
1-23                 (9)  Sections 6A(h) and (i), Orthotics and Prosthetics
1-24     Act (Article 8920, Revised Statutes).
 2-1           SECTION 2. The following sections of the Occupations Code, as
 2-2     added by the Act of the 77th Legislature, Regular Session, 2001,
 2-3     relating to nonsubstantive additions to and corrections in enacted
 2-4     codes, are repealed:
 2-5                 (1)  Sections 401.2535(h) and (i);
 2-6                 (2)  Sections 451.110(h) and (i);
 2-7                 (3)  Sections 502.2045(h) and (i);
 2-8                 (4)  Sections 503.2545(h) and (i);
 2-9                 (5)  Sections 505.2545(h) and (i);
2-10                 (6)  Sections 602.1525(h) and (i);
2-11                 (7)  Sections 603.2041(h) and (i);
2-12                 (8)  Sections 605.2021(h) and (i); and
2-13                 (9)  Sections 701.2041(h) and (i).
2-14           SECTION 3. The following provisions are repealed:
2-15                 (1)  Sections 8C(h) and (i), Chapter 462, Acts of the
2-16     68th Legislature, Regular Session, 1983 (Article 4413(51), Vernon's
2-17     Texas Civil Statutes);
2-18                 (2)  Sections 1.12C(h) and (i), Chapter 366, Acts of
2-19     the 61st Legislature, Regular Session, 1969 (Article 4566-1.12C,
2-20     Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes); and
2-21                 (3)  Sections 241.051(d) and (e), Health and Safety
2-22     Code.
2-23           SECTION 4. (a)  Section 1 of this Act takes effect only if
2-24     the Act of the 77th Legislature, Regular Session, 2001, relating to
2-25     nonsubstantive additions to and corrections in enacted codes, does
2-26     not take effect.
2-27           (b)  Section 2 of this Act takes effect only if the Act of
 3-1     the 77th Legislature, Regular Session, 2001, relating to
 3-2     nonsubstantive additions to and corrections in enacted codes, takes
 3-3     effect.
 3-4           SECTION 5. The change in law made by this Act applies only to
 3-5     a complaint filed on or after the effective date of the Act.  A
 3-6     complaint filed before the effective date of this Act is governed
 3-7     by the law in effect on the date the complaint was filed, and the
 3-8     former law is continued in effect for that purpose.
 3-9           SECTION 6. This Act takes effect September 1, 2001.
