                                A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
 1-1                                   AN ACT
 1-2     relating to the composition of judicial districts in this state.
 1-3           BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
 1-4           SECTION 1.  Subchapters B, C, D, and E, Chapter 24,
 1-5     Government  Code, are repealed.
 1-6           SECTION 2.  Chapter 24, Government Code, is amended by adding
 1-7     Subchapter AA to read as follows:
 1-8                     SUBCHAPTER AA.  JUDICIAL DISTRICTS
 1-9           Sec. 24.0001.  DISTRICT A-1.  Judicial District A-1 is
1-10     composed of the counties of Anderson, Andrews, Angelina, Archer,
1-11     Armstrong, Bailey, Bastrop, Baylor, Bell, Blanco, Borden, Bosque,
1-12     Bowie, Brazos, Briscoe, Brown, Burleson, Burnet, Callahan, Camp,
1-13     Carson, Cass, Castro, Cherokee, Childress, Clay, Cochran, Coke,
1-14     Coleman, Collin, Collingsworth, Comal, Comanche, Concho, Cooke,

2-14     Chambers, Colorado, Crockett, Culberson, De Witt, Dimmit, Duval,
2-15     Edwards, El Paso, Fayette, Fort Bend, Frio, Galveston, Gillespie,
2-16     Goliad, Gonzales, Guadalupe, Harris, Hidalgo, Hudspeth, Jackson,
2-17     Jeff Davis, Jefferson, Jim Hogg, Jim Wells, Karnes, Kendall,
2-18     Kenedy, Kerr, Kimble, Kinney, Kleberg, La Salle, Lavaca, Live Oak,
2-19     McMullen, Matagorda, Maverick, Medina, Nueces, Orange, Pecos,
