1-10 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
1-11 SECTION 1. Section 74.061(c), Government Code, is amended to
1-12 read as follows:
1-13 (c) The salary of a retired judge or justice while assigned
1-14 under this chapter shall be paid out of money appropriated from the

1-21 judge assigned under this chapter to serve in a district court or
1-22 statutory county court shall be paid by the state in the same

1-29 Act is governed by the law in effect at the time the assignment is
1-30 made, and that law is continued in effect for that purpose.
