                                A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
 1-1                                   AN ACT
 1-2     relating to calling an election for qualified voters to approve any
 1-3     annexation by a municipality of any portion of Chateau Woods
 1-4     Municipal Utility District, Montgomery County, Texas.
 1-5           BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
 1-6           SECTION 1.  Section 1 Chapter 744, Act of the 73rd
 1-7     Legislature, Regular Session, 1993, is amended by adding
 1-8     Subsections (c) and (d) to read as follow:
 1-9           (c)  Except as otherwise provided by this Act, the district
1-10     or any portion of the district may only be annexed by a home-rule
1-11     or general law municipality after approval by a majority of the
1-12     qualified voters in the area to be annexed at an election ordered
1-13     by the municipality in the same manner provided for annexation by
1-14     home rule municipalities found in Section 43.022 of the Texas Local
1-15     Government Code.
1-16           (d)  The requirement for voter approval of annexation by a
1-17     municipality as described above in Subsection (c) does not apply
1-18     to that territory in the district containing 14.675 acres of land,
1-19     more or less, commonly known as Blueberry Hill Estates, and more
1-20     particularly described by metes and bounds as follows:
1-21           BEGINNING at the southwest corner of Lake Chateau Woods,
1-22     Section 1 map of which is recorded in Volume 7, page 167 of the map
1-23     records of Montgomery County;
 2-1           THENCE south 86 degrees 26 minutes west, a distance of
 2-2     395.000 feet to a point on the southwesterly boundary line of
 2-3     Montgomery County Drainage District No. 6;
 2-4           THENCE north 23 degrees 19 minutes 50 seconds west with said
 2-5     line, a distance of 203.41 feet to a point near the northwest
 2-6     corner of Lot 1, Block 2 of Blueberry Hill Estates, a map of which
 2-7     is recorded in Volume 7, page 217 of the map records of Montgomery
 2-8     County;
 2-9           THENCE south 88 degrees 55 minutes 10 seconds west, with the
2-10     north line of said Lot1 and the north line of Lot 1, Block 1 and
2-11     being in the east line of Oak Ridge North, Section 9, map of which
2-12     is recorded in Volume 9, Page 10 of the map records of Montgomery
2-13     County;
2-14           THENCE north 00 degrees 07 minutes 30 seconds west, with said
2-15     east line, and crossing Woodson Road, a distance of 523.67 fee to a
2-16     point for the northwest corner of the herein described tract in the
2-17     north line of Woodson Road.
2-18           THENCE north 83 degrees 10 minutes 31 seconds east, with said
2-19     north line and crossing the Missouri Pacific R.R. right of way, a
2-20     distance of 928.36 feet to a point in the west line of the
2-21     aforesaid Lake Chateau Woods for the northeast corner of the herein
2-22     described tract:
2-23           THENCE south 11 degrees 30 minutes 00 seconds east, with said
2-24     west line and the east line of the Missouri Pacific R.R. right of
2-25     way, a distance of 800.85 feet to the place of BEGINNING and
2-26     containing 14.675 acres of land.
