                                A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
 1-1                                   AN ACT
 1-2     relating to an annual salary supplement paid by Cameron County to
 1-3     the local administrative district judge in Cameron County.
 1-4           BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
 1-5           SECTION 1. Section 32.031, Government Code, is amended by
 1-6     adding Subsection (d) to read as follows:
 1-7           (d)  In addition to the salary authorized under Subsection
 1-8     (a), the Commissioners Court of Cameron County may pay the district
 1-9     judge who serves as the local administrative district judge in the
1-10     county under Section 74.091 an annual salary for judicial and
1-11     administrative duties in an amount set by the commissioners court.
1-12           SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2001.
