                             HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
 1-1           WHEREAS, Section 17, Article III, Texas Constitution,
 1-2     provides that neither house of the legislature may adjourn for more
 1-3     than three days without the consent of the other house; now,
 1-4     therefore, be it
 1-5           RESOLVED by the 77th Legislature of the State of Texas, That
 1-6     each house grant the other permission to adjourn for more than
 1-7     three days during the period beginning on Wednesday, January 17,
 1-8     2001, and ending on Monday, January 22, 2001.
