R E S O L U T I O N
 1-1           WHEREAS, Rochelle Leah Sinder of McAllen celebrated her debut
 1-2     presentation in honor of her 15th birthday on May 13, 2000, at
 1-3     which friends and family paid tribute to this outstanding young
 1-4     woman; and
 1-5           WHEREAS, Born on June 8, 1985, this lovely young lady is the
 1-6     daughter of Mike and Elda Sinder and is currently a sophomore at
 1-7     McAllen High School; and
 1-8           WHEREAS, Throughout her scholastic career, Ms. Sinder has
 1-9     earned the respect and admiration of her peers with her
1-10     participation in a host of worthwhile activities; a former junior
1-11     high school cheerleader, she plays the viola in the school's
1-12     symphony orchestra, is a member of the Key Club, and has attended
1-13     three Democratic National Conventions and two presidential
1-14     inaugurations; and
1-15           WHEREAS, Ms. Sinder has danced and studied Mexican folkloric
1-16     dance since she was three years old, and as one of the youngest
1-17     members of the prestigious Ballet Folklorico de Reynosa, a
1-18     professional Mexican dance troupe, she has performed throughout
1-19     Mexico and the United States; a part-time instructor herself, she
1-20     has experience in multiple genres, including classical, jazz, tap,
1-21     and flamenco; and
1-22           WHEREAS, In light of her milestone birthday,  Ms. Sinder  was
1-23     honored    at    a    quince niera    celebration    that   included
1-24     tradition-breaking innovations hosted by her loving parents at the
 2-1     Nomad Shrine Club in Pharr, Texas; and
 2-2           WHEREAS, Rochelle Leah Sinder is a source of tremendous pride
 2-3     to her family and to her community, and it is indeed a pleasure to
 2-4     recognize this remarkable young woman at this time; now, therefore,
 2-5     be it
 2-6           RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 77th Texas
 2-7     Legislature hereby congratulate Rochelle Leah Sinder on her
 2-8     presentation as a debutante and extend to her sincere best wishes
 2-9     for continued success and happiness in the years to come; and, be
2-10     it further
2-11           RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
2-12     prepared for Ms. Sinder as an expression of high regard by the
2-13     Texas House of Representatives.
