R E S O L U T I O N
 1-1           WHEREAS, The members of the TALL VII class of the Texas
 1-2     Agricultural Lifetime Leadership (TALL) program strive to increase
 1-3     their knowledge and abilities in this challenging discipline to the
 1-4     benefit of all Texans; and
 1-5           WHEREAS, Now in its 14th year of operation, the TALL program
 1-6     is a part of the Texas Agricultural Extension Service and is
 1-7     designed for men and women between the ages of 25 and 45 who are in
 1-8     the early stages of their agricultural careers; the TALL VII class
 1-9     comprises 25 ambitious Texans who have demonstrated the leadership,
1-10     integrity, effectiveness, analytical and communicative skills,
1-11     potential for growth, and vocational commitment necessary to become
1-12     a part of this distinguished organization; and
1-13           WHEREAS, The program's participants learn how the
1-14     agricultural industry relates to the complex economic, political,
1-15     and social systems of today's world; in addition to attending
1-16     seminars and meetings with leaders in government and business, the
1-17     TALL VII class will visit Washington, D.C., New York, Mexico,
1-18     Poland, and Russia; and
1-19           WHEREAS, TALL graduates routinely become valuable
1-20     contributors to the agricultural environment of Texas, and as the
1-21     members of the TALL VII class endeavor to fulfill this vital role,
1-22     it is indeed fitting that they be recognized for their dedication
1-23     and drive; now, therefore, be it
1-24           RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 77th Texas
 2-1     Legislature hereby congratulate the members of the TALL VII class
 2-2     on their participation in this esteemed program and extend to them
 2-3     sincere best wishes for continued success and happiness; and, be it
 2-4     further
 2-5           RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 2-6     prepared for the members of the TALL VII class as an expression of
 2-7     high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
