                                 R E S O L U T I O N
 1-1           WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives takes great
 1-2     pleasure in welcoming the members of Leadership Fort Bend to the
 1-3     State Capitol on February 7, 2001; and
 1-4           WHEREAS, A long-standing educational program of the
 1-5     Richmond-Rosenburg Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Fort Bend
 1-6     operates under the superb direction of the chamber of commerce's
 1-7     executive vice president, Sue Buzzby, and endeavors to familiarize
 1-8     business leaders with local and state government; and
 1-9           WHEREAS, With the 77th legislative session in full swing, the
1-10     Capitol Complex hums with activity and offers these noteworthy
1-11     individuals an opportunity to view their state government
1-12     functioning at its dynamic best; in addition, the outstanding
1-13     historical documentation housed on these grounds provides an
1-14     exceptional source of information for those individuals interested
1-15     in the chronicles of our state government from throughout the
1-16     years; and
1-17           WHEREAS, The approximately 30 outstanding businessmen and
1-18     businesswomen participating in Leadership Fort Bend's year-long
1-19     course are demonstrating an admirable commitment to learning about
1-20     our state government and its leaders, and it is a privilege to
1-21     recognize all those associated with this fine program at this time;
1-22     now, therefore, be it
1-23           RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 77th Texas
1-24     Legislature hereby welcome Leadership Fort Bend to the State
 2-1     Capitol and extend to them sincere best wishes for an enjoyable
 2-2     visit; and, be it further
 2-3           RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 2-4     prepared for the members of this distinguished program as an
 2-5     expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
