                                 R E S O L U T I O N
 1-1           WHEREAS, The family and friends of Caroline "Karo" Gracely
 1-2     were deeply saddened by the untimely passing of this beloved young
 1-3     lady on June 20, 1999; and
 1-4           WHEREAS, Ms. Gracely was born on December 16, 1980, in San
 1-5     Antonio; she moved with her family to Austin in 1989, and was an
 1-6     enthusiastic student at Westlake High School, serving as a member
 1-7     of its Hyline Drill team; and
 1-8           WHEREAS, Making friends wherever she lived, Ms. Gracely moved
 1-9     in 1997 to Katy where she attended Taylor High School for two
1-10     fulfilling years; active at her school as a Pacesetter, she
1-11     graduated on May 28, 1999, and was planning to attend Texas Tech
1-12     University; and
1-13           WHEREAS, Caroline Gracely is remembered by her family and
1-14     friends as a creative and beautiful young woman with a love of
1-15     photography, and the memory of her grace and goodness will continue
1-16     to live on in the hearts of the many people whose lives she touched
1-17     for many years to come; now, therefore, be it
1-18           RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 77th Texas
1-19     Legislature hereby honor the life of Caroline "Karo" Gracely and
1-20     extend sincere sympathy to the members of her family: to her
1-21     parents, Frank and Rhonda Gracely; to her sister, Tiffany Marie
1-22     Gracely; to her grandparents, Dreabon and Mae Copeland and Frank
1-23     and Virginia Gracely; and to her many other relatives and friends;
1-24     and, be it further
 2-1           RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 2-2     prepared for the members of her family and that when the Texas
 2-3     House of Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of
 2-4     Caroline "Karo" Gracely.
