R E S O L U T I O N
 1-1           WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives takes great
 1-2     pleasure in welcoming a distinguished guest to the chamber today,
 1-3     Dr. J. Fredrick Cardwell of Raceland, Louisiana; and
 1-4           WHEREAS, Dr. Cardwell has brought countless new citizens into
 1-5     the world as a highly regarded obstetrician for more than 30 years;
 1-6     and
 1-7           WHEREAS, While this caring professional has helped many
 1-8     couples experience the joys of parenthood over the course of his
 1-9     career, he has also known that joy himself on a personal level; in
1-10     fact, Dr. Cardwell and his beloved wife, Norma, are today doting
1-11     grandparents who may look forward to having yet another beautiful
1-12     grandchild to lavish with attention later this year; and
1-13           WHEREAS, In first learning of this news while visiting the
1-14     house of representatives, it is hoped that Dr. Cardwell will  even
1-15     more fondly remember his trip to the seat of Texas government; now,
1-16     therefore, be it
1-17           RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 77th Texas
1-18     Legislature hereby congratulate Dr. J. Fredrick Cardwell on his
1-19     exciting news and extend to him a warm welcome on the occasion of
1-20     his visit to the Lone Star State; and, be it further
1-21           RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
1-22     prepared for Dr. Cardwell as an expression of high regard by the
1-23     Texas House of Representatives.
