                                 R E S O L U T I O N
 1-1           WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives is proud to honor
 1-2     the educators of Reicher Catholic High School in Waco on January
 1-3     29, 2001, which has been designated National Appreciation Day for
 1-4     Catholic Teachers; and
 1-5           WHEREAS, Guided by Principal Dr. Kevin Caspersen, the 33
 1-6     staff members serve as positive role models for their young charges
 1-7     while they lovingly encourage their 220 ninth-grade through
 1-8     12th-grade students to fulfill their highest potential; and
 1-9           WHEREAS, Reicher Catholic High School was founded in 1954,
1-10     and since that time it has consistently played a key role in
1-11     meeting the educational needs of its community; and
1-12           WHEREAS, Through the years, the school's outstanding
1-13     educators  have inspired thousands of Texas children to achieve
1-14     their best, and their steadfast commitment ensures that the
1-15     students in their community are being ably prepared for bright and
1-16     promising futures; now, therefore, be it
1-17           RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 77th Texas
1-18     Legislature hereby honor the exceptional educators of Reicher
1-19     Catholic High School and Principal Dr. Kevin Caspersen on the
1-20     occasion of National Appreciation Day for Catholic Teachers and
1-21     extend to them best wishes for continued success; and, be it
1-22     further
1-23           RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
1-24     prepared for Reicher Catholic High School as an expression of high
 2-1     regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
