R E S O L U T I O N
 1-1           WHEREAS, January 24, 2001, is the 61st wedding anniversary of
 1-2     Kenworth and Julia Stoepel of Kerrville, and this occasion is
 1-3     indeed deserving of special recognition; and
 1-4           WHEREAS, Mr. Stoepel and the former Julia Maxine Johnston
 1-5     were wed in Cincinnati, Ohio, in 1940, and in the ensuing years
 1-6     they have enjoyed many wonderful times together and have watched
 1-7     their close-knit family grow to include six children: Terry,
 1-8     Jackie, Tim, Debbie, Ron, and Gerry, as well as nine beloved
 1-9     grandchildren; and
1-10           WHEREAS, This joyous union has yielded a relationship built
1-11     on trust, understanding, and mutual respect, and with more than six
1-12     decades of cherished memories, a loving family, and many close
1-13     friends, the Stoepels truly have reason to celebrate; in light of
1-14     this most noteworthy occasion, it is a privilege to join in
1-15     honoring Mr. and Mrs. Stoepel  at this time; now, therefore, be it
1-16           RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 77th Texas
1-17     Legislature hereby congratulate Kenworth and Julia Stoepel on their
1-18     61st wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for
1-19     happiness as they continue their journey together; and, be it
1-20     further
1-21           RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
1-22     prepared for the Stoepels as an expression of high regard by the
1-23     Texas House of Representatives.
