                                 R E S O L U T I O N
 1-1           WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives is pleased to
 1-2     honor T. D. Hall, constable of Kerr County for 24 years, for his
 1-3     outstanding public service; and
 1-4           WHEREAS, First elected as constable in 1976, Mr. Hall earned
 1-5     the admiration and respect of his colleagues and neighbors
 1-6     throughout the community that is his lifelong home; and
 1-7           WHEREAS, This estimable Texan was a deputy game warden in
 1-8     Kerr County for 26 years before serving as constable; he has also
 1-9     given generously of his time and experience as a charter member and
1-10     former chief of the Mountain Home Volunteer Fire Department, and
1-11     his longstanding and continuing commitment to public service is a
1-12     tremendous asset to the residents of this close-knit community and
1-13     the Lone Star State; and
1-14           WHEREAS, A devoted husband and father, Mr. Hall is blessed
1-15     with the love and support of Billie, his wife of 52 years, and four
1-16     cherished children; and
1-17           WHEREAS, On December 31, 2000, Mr. Hall stepped down from his
1-18     position as constable of Precinct 4, but he will continue to serve
1-19     his fellow citizens as deputy constable, and it is a privilege to
1-20     pay tribute to him at this time; now, therefore, be it
1-21           RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 77th Texas
1-22     Legislature hereby commend T. D. Hall for his many years of service
1-23     to the citizens of Kerr County and extend to him sincere best
1-24     wishes for his continued success and happiness; and, be it further
 2-1           RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 2-2     prepared for Mr. Hall as an expression of high regard by the Texas
 2-3     House of Representatives.
