                                 R E S O L U T I O N
 1-1           WHEREAS, December 26, 2000, was a day of great significance
 1-2     in the lives of Stephen Michael McKinney and Tiffany Yezak
 1-3     McKinney, for on that day they became the proud parents of an
 1-4     adorable baby girl whom they named Grace, meaning "undeserved
 1-5     gift"; and
 1-6           WHEREAS, The granddaughter of former State Representative
 1-7     Mike McKinney and Lou Ann McKinney, Grace weighed 7 pounds, 8
 1-8     ounces, and measured 20-1/2 inches in length when she made her
 1-9     debut at 10:55 a.m. at Women's Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana;
1-10     and
1-11           WHEREAS, Though Mr. and Mrs. McKinney are Texans, they now
1-12     reside in Indianapolis, where Mr. McKinney is employed as an NFL
1-13     offensive lineman for the Indianapolis Colts and Mrs. McKinney has
1-14     an equally demanding role as the full-time mother of two beautiful
1-15     daughters under the age of two; and
1-16           WHEREAS, Grace's big sister, Jordan, was born on May 24,
1-17     1999, and has proven such a joy since her birth that the arrival of
1-18     another McKinney within a short time  was all but a foregone
1-19     conclusion to the McKinneys' close-knit circle of family and
1-20     friends; and
1-21           WHEREAS, Both Grace and Jordan can look forward to bright and
1-22     promising futures, and given their Lone Star lineage, it is most
1-23     fitting that they be accorded special Texas citizenship at this
1-24     time; now, therefore, be it
 2-1           RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 77th Texas
 2-2     Legislature hereby congratulate Stephen and Tiffany McKinney on the
 2-3     births of their daughters, Grace and Jordan McKinney, and recognize
 2-4     this terrific twosome as honorary Texans; and, be it further
 2-5           RESOLVED, That official copies of this resolution be prepared
 2-6     for Grace and Jordan McKinney, their parents, and their
 2-7     grandparents as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of
 2-8     Representatives.
