R E S O L U T I O N
 1-1           WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives takes great
 1-2     pleasure in welcoming the visiting delegation from Scotland's
 1-3     Glenlyon Primary School to the State Capitol; and
 1-4           WHEREAS, Located near the center of one of Scotland's most
 1-5     picturesque glens, Glenlyon Primary School is a small rural school
 1-6     that currently serves eight students ranging in age from 5 to 12
 1-7     years; students from the school, many of their parents, and the
 1-8     school's headteacher, Ms. Annabelle Smith, are visiting Texas March
 1-9     13-23, 2001, and in addition to seeing our state government in
1-10     action, they are engaging in a number of other educational and
1-11     informative activities across the state; and
1-12           WHEREAS, In attendance today at the State Capitol are
1-13     Ms. Smith; Meghan, Robert, and Judith Potter; Fionnlagh and Lil
1-14     Campbell; Kirsty and Heather Walker; Alana and Pauline Elliot; Ian
1-15     and Sheena Webster; Anna Pirie; and Shaun and Keiran Tully; and
1-16           WHEREAS, At this time, it is indeed an honor to recognize
1-17     these very special visitors from Glenlyon, Scotland; now,
1-18     therefore, be it
1-19           RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 77th Texas
1-20     Legislature hereby welcome the students of Glenlyon Primary School,
1-21     their parents, and their teacher to the State Capitol and extend to
1-22     them sincere best wishes for an enjoyable stay in the Lone Star
1-23     State; and, be it further
1-24           RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 2-1     prepared for these international visitors as an expression of high
 2-2     regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
