                                 R E S O L U T I O N
 1-1           WHEREAS, Natalie Roffino of Richardson has been named one of
 1-2     the top student volunteers in Texas in the Prudential Spirit of
 1-3     Community Awards program sponsored by The Prudential Insurance
 1-4     Company in partnership with the National Association of Secondary
 1-5     School Principals; and
 1-6           WHEREAS, A senior at Bishop Lynch High School in Dallas,
 1-7     Ms. Roffino served as director of her school's Hearts and Hammers
 1-8     program, which makes housing repairs for people who cannot afford
 1-9     to bring their homes up to city codes; and
1-10           WHEREAS, In recognition of her notable contributions
1-11     Prudential named her one of eight Distinguished Finalists in the
1-12     state; and
1-13           WHEREAS, With her energy and commitment to serving her
1-14     community, Ms. Roffino has established herself as a leader and role
1-15     model for her classmates; her ongoing and valuable efforts have
1-16     made a positive impact on numerous lives in the Lone Star State;
1-17     and
1-18           WHEREAS, The hard work and dedication of Ms. Roffino in
1-19     behalf of her fellow Texans is truly commendable, and it is most
1-20     appropriate to pay tribute to this enterprising young woman as she
1-21     readily embraces the myriad challenges and opportunities of the
1-22     future; now, therefore, be it
1-23           RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 77th Texas
1-24     Legislature hereby congratulate Natalie Roffino on being named an
 2-1     outstanding volunteer by the Prudential Spirit of Community Award
 2-2     program and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success
 2-3     and happiness; and, be it further
 2-4           RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 2-5     prepared for Ms. Roffino as an expression of high regard by the
 2-6     Texas House of Representatives.
