                                 R E S O L U T I O N
 1-1           WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives is pleased to
 1-2     commend Johnny W. Crawford of Oak Cliff for his many years of
 1-3     dedication and service to the community; and
 1-4           WHEREAS, A successful businessman and a barber for 41 years,
 1-5     Mr. Crawford owns Crawford's Barber and Beauty Supply and owns and
 1-6     manages Crawford's Unisex Salon; and
 1-7           WHEREAS, This outstanding Texan devotes much of his time and
 1-8     efforts to various civic activities; in addition to being president
 1-9     and treasurer of The Professional Barber/Stylist Committee,
1-10     Mr. Crawford belongs to the Texas Association of Tonsorial Artist,
1-11     serving as president of its Dallas Chapter for six years, as chair
1-12     of the board and president for the state for nine years, and as
1-13     state treasurer for three years; and
1-14           WHEREAS, A member of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship Church and a
1-15     participant in its Usher Ministry, this esteemed gentleman
1-16     represents the highest qualities of good citizenship; it is indeed
1-17     a pleasure to recognize him at this time for his many years of
1-18     civic leadership; now, therefore, be it
1-19           RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 77th Texas
1-20     Legislature hereby honor Johnny W. Crawford for his myriad
1-21     contributions to his community and extend to him sincere best
1-22     wishes for continued success and happiness; and, be it further
1-23           RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
1-24     prepared for Mr. Crawford as an expression of high regard by the
 2-1     Texas House of Representatives.
