                                 R E S O L U T I O N
 1-1           WHEREAS, A golden wedding anniversary is truly cause for
 1-2     celebration, and Don and Wanda Moore of Midland recently marked
 1-3     this noteworthy event with a dinner at the Cattle Baron restaurant
 1-4     hosted by Linda Runkles; and
 1-5           WHEREAS, Mr. Moore and the former Wanda Runkles were married
 1-6     on December 1, 1950, by the Reverend T. M. Gillham at First Baptist
 1-7     Church in Post; they enjoy a fulfilling relationship that is
 1-8     blessed with three children, David Moore, Carol Glosson, and
 1-9     Rebecca Richardson, and two beloved grandchildren; and
1-10           WHEREAS, Retired from H.S.A. Mortgage, Mrs. Moore is employed
1-11     with Midland Insurance Services, while Mr. Moore is retired from
1-12     Rogers Ford; the Moores have made their home in Midland since 1963;
1-13     and
1-14           WHEREAS, For half a century, Mr. and Mrs. Moore have shared a
1-15     union filled with many happy times and cherished family memories,
1-16     and it is most appropriate that they be honored at this time; now,
1-17     therefore, be it
1-18           RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 77th Texas
1-19     Legislature hereby congratulate Don and Wanda Moore on their 50th
1-20     wedding anniversary and extend to them warmest best wishes on this
1-21     joyous occasion; and, be it further
1-22           RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
1-23     prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Moore as an expression of high regard by
1-24     the Texas House of Representatives.
