R E S O L U T I O N
 1-1           WHEREAS, On December 29, 2000, Carriel and Jannette Nipp of
 1-2     Midland celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary, and this
 1-3     significant occasion was commemorated by their children with a
 1-4     special family dinner given in their parents' honor; and
 1-5           WHEREAS, The couple were joined in matrimony on December 29,
 1-6     1950, in Altus, Oklahoma; their enduring union has been blessed
 1-7     with four children, Diane Segulja, Donna Yelverton, Dana Dickson,
 1-8     and Carriel E. Nipp, Jr., as well as 13 grandchildren; and
 1-9           WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Nipp moved from Kansas to Midland in
1-10     1952 and have owned and operated Snowhite Laundry and Linen Service
1-11     since 1962; in addition, they are valued members of the Golf Course
1-12     Road Church of Christ; and
1-13           WHEREAS, For more than five decades, Mr. and Mrs. Nipp have
1-14     shared a loving relationship that has been filled with much joy and
1-15     cherished family memories, and it is indeed a privilege to pay
1-16     tribute to this devoted couple at this time; now, therefore, be it
1-17           RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 77th Texas
1-18     Legislature hereby congratulate Carriel and Jannette Nipp on their
1-19     50th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for
1-20     continued success and happiness; and, be it further
1-21           RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
1-22     prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Nipp as an expression of high regard by
1-23     the Texas House of Representatives.
