                                 R E S O L U T I O N
 1-1           WHEREAS, Alfredo Munguia was named 2000 president of the Rio
 1-2     Grande Valley Builders Association (RGVBA) at the Annual Awards
 1-3     Banquet held at McAllen Country Club; and
 1-4           WHEREAS, Now in his 13th year working at McAllen Affordable
 1-5     Homes as the loan processor and construction inspector, Mr. Munguia
 1-6     is adroitly leading the RGVBA, a nonprofit corporation established
 1-7     for charitable and educational purposes that benefits home builders
 1-8     and those engaged in similar industries in the Rio Grande Valley;
 1-9     and
1-10           WHEREAS, An affiliated member of the National Association of
1-11     Home Builders in Washington, D.C. and the Texas Association of
1-12     Builders in Austin, the RGVBA is the only one of its kind in the
1-13     Valley and serves the counties of Hidalgo, Starr, Cameron, and
1-14     Willacy; and
1-15           WHEREAS, Mr. Munguia will preside over the RGVBA as its
1-16     caring members continue to strengthen their communities by donating
1-17     their time, money, and services to myriad worthwhile projects; and
1-18           WHEREAS, Guided by this outstanding Texan, the RGVBA can
1-19     expect a bright future filled with many good works, and it is most
1-20     appropriate to pay tribute to Mr. Munguia at this time; now,
1-21     therefore, be it
1-22           RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 77th Texas
1-23     Legislature hereby congratulate Alfredo Munguia for being named
1-24     president of the Rio Grande Valley Builders Association and extend
 2-1     to him sincere best wishes for success in all his future endeavors;
 2-2     and, be it further
 2-3           RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 2-4     prepared for Mr. Munguia as an expression of high regard by the
 2-5     Texas House of Representatives.
