                                 R E S O L U T I O N
 1-1           WHEREAS, On May 8, 2001, the congregation of St. Dominic
 1-2     Catholic Church in Houston is honoring Father Anton Sheltz on the
 1-3     joyous occasion of his 25th anniversary as a priest, and this
 1-4     special recognition is well deserved; and
 1-5           WHEREAS, Through his outstanding spiritual leadership,
 1-6     understanding guidance, and strong faith, Father Sheltz has served
 1-7     as a role model to the members of his community through two and a
 1-8     half decades of change and growth; and
 1-9           WHEREAS, This esteemed clergyman has been a blessing in the
1-10     lives of countless people during his years of dedicated service to
1-11     the church, and he continues to offer strength and comfort to those
1-12     who seek his assistance; now, therefore, be it
1-13           RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 77th Texas
1-14     Legislature hereby join his family, friends, and congregation in
1-15     paying tribute to Father Anton Sheltz on his 25th anniversary as a
1-16     priest and extend to him best wishes for good fortune and happiness
1-17     in all his future endeavors; and, be it further
1-18           RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
1-19     prepared for Father Sheltz as an expression of high regard by the
1-20     Texas House of Representatives.
